I have been searching for a good car holder for my incredible. I would like to be able to quickly move it from car to car so am looking at the vent clip type but I am not sure that type swivel and I would like to be able to swivel sideways, especially if we ever get a gps update. The windshield mount look nice, with the flexible arm but every windshield mount device I have ever owned have ended up on the floor especially in extreme cold or hot temps. Anyway, I was hoping to get some insight into what solutions work well for others. Thanks

I guess no one has experience. Did you search the web for Android Accessories sites?

Bam! There's a great deal right now on http://www.Deals.Woot.com. (Scroll down a bit, or second page, depending when you get there)Looks to be the exact thing you are looking for. It's sold from ebay so also check there, too.

I would like to get one that holds the Aria sideways for when we get Turn by Turn Navi!
I am thinking I might have to make something though lol.. i have the perfect spot just above the radio in my car to mount it so I can just set it there and let it navigate me! lol

I think most of the windshield mount holders rotate sideways but I could not find a vent mount one that rotates I wonder if mounting to the vent with the temp extremes might be bad...I don't know if it mounts with the vent open or closed. I guess I will find out soon enough

The vent will more than likely have to be open. And the temperature changes wont be extreme enough to cause actual damage. The only thing you might wanna keep an eye on is condensation with the A/C on

I bought the verizon branded one yesterday and it is pretty solid.
I stuck it to the dash and the arm is very adjustable.
Not bad for 29.99.

I mean, if the incredible is the newest prize on the market....why isn't it marketed as such with the array of accessories?
Why can't we get something like this? It's very clean and not UNIVERSAL. Looks very nice. Those clamp style ones are too bulky for my taste is all.

all I can say is be careful of the "universal" mounts...they can block the power port (for CLA) and they can push on the volume buttons which causes the touch screen not to respond...I am waiting for a mount specifically for the Aria.

It is made for the incredible, does not block power port or push volume buttons.
Only downside is you have to take it out of your clip on or rubber case to put it in the belt clip case that comes with the mount
