Looks like it's still got a trackball... The only part of my Aria I find useless.

It actually doesn't have a trackball, I'm sure what it is, i think it's like a camera of sorts, used just like a trackball but more up to date, modern, and stylish. I'll edit in a bit, I'm on the phone and don't want to do this and browse for the user manual, which I believe its out, leaked like all good things lol

EDIT:

Accoring to the specs, it's an optical joystick.

I'm kinda losing interest in HTC's design efforts. I mean, it looks nice because it looks like all of their Android devices.

Good Day All,

How is everyone?  I'm extremely new to this forum and I just got my HTC Aria a few days ago.  I have never before, touched something so amazing!  I'm very excited about the possibilities that are to come with it!

I'm not sure if anyone's aware of this little tidbit or not (and this is in no way meant to be a "plug" {as in an advertisement} but more of a tip, if anyone's interested).  I originally ordered my phone on the 14th of June, through Verizon Wireless' website and it would have cost me $199.99.  It would have been shipped out to me, by the 8th of July.  That's 3 and a half weeks away from the date I placed the order!  Then there's the delivery time frame to add on top of that!

I was able to find a legitimate cell phone dealer that's selling it for $149.99 and I was able to get it in three days from placing the order!  Needless to say, I've canceled my original order from Verizon.  The dealer I speak of, has out-sourced their call centers for orders and customer support (to a country where American-English isn't the first language), so be weary about the accuracy of your order.  I've had and still do have some issues, that I have resolved or am still in the process of resolving.  To be fair, they have corrected the issues to accommodate me (although it took several phone calls and chat sessions to fix).

As I've previously stated this is not an advertisement, so if anyone's interested in knowing with what company I bought from, PM me.  I'll be more than happy to share, unless told otherwise by Admin.

On another note, the trackball isn't a ball at all, on my phone.  It's an optical joystick.

I look forward to any benefit I may get, as well as give, from utilizing this forum.

I hope everyone has a wonderful and productive time with their HTC Arias.
