Yes!! I had an Iphone and canned it for the Aria. Granted,it was with crap AT&T and their terrible service but I still like the Aria better. The Aria is a little slower (sorry but true) but it is smaller and easier to use, the speaker is a million times better, and the call sound quality is much better. There are a ton more easons but you all get the picture.

I'd stick with the Aria all the way! I bought it in the 1st place knowing it would be upgraded to 2.1 and I figure that the upgrade will only improve what I've found to be an outstanding device!

Depends on the cost.

I have long had an iPod Touch. It really works great. But I'm on Verizon, (and need it). I got the Aria for free, (got the offer just as my old phone broke).

I like the Aria a lot, but from using the Touch, and playing with other people's iPhones, well they just work better. (I wish either phones were the Touch's size).

With the Aria I don't miss the iPhone that much, and I would likely not spend a lot of money for the iPhone, and nothing against anyone here Smiley, but I can see switching.

If my wife were to want a smart phone, I definitely steer her to the iPhone. The Aria, and Android, is a lot more fildlier.  I don't mind so much, (few of my computers ever have the case screws in them, and I'm always beta testing), but things like battery life, and the wild west of the Andriod store and many android apps would not work for her.

I had an iTouch for a couple years.  I eventually got the incredible because I was tired of carrying around multiple devices (iTouch for calendar, dumb phone for calling).  Which the iphone/itouch is definitely smoother across the board, it doesn't allow any customization, and locks down so many things that make my phone awesome.  The iphone is a smart phone, yes.  The incredible/android is a computer that makes phone calls.  =D
