I am having problems when picking up a call, I can't hear them when I put the phone to my ear. However, I can use the Aria with my bluetooth and turn on speaker phone.

Also, when I try to call someone, my screen is black the second the I put in the phone number.   The screen doesn't stay on or show the person I am calling....it is just a black screen.

Any help would be appreciated.

I have heard of people having the black screen issue because of the case they were using covering the proximity  sensor so if you have case on the phone try removing it and see if it makes a difference.
For the in call volume I know this may be rudimentary but while on the call have tried to turn the volume up because it is independent of the normal volume.

Sorry for the delay in responding.

I am not using a case.  There has to be a setting somewhere that can enable for me to see who I am calling.

Also there has to be a setting somewhere to use the phone when someone calls rather than using the Bluetooth or speaker.

By the way, I do not have any issues with the call volume.

The black screen is usually do to a problem with the proximity sensor make a call and hold the phone up to a light if the screen comes back on then it is the proximity sensor that is the problem and i don't now of a fix besides sending it in for repair. The other option is a factory reset of the phone via the settings if that does not work i don't have any other options to offer besides having it looked at by a tech.

You said that when you make a call you can not here the other person via the phones internal speaker and i was telling you to use the volume up while on the call to turn the internal speaker volume up. Again if that does not work try the factory reset and if that does not work than it is most likly a hardwarew issue and not a software issue.

Be warned a factory reset will clear all data and apps off the phone so back up everything first
