I everyone.. I am so glad to have found a forum specific to the HTC Aria.. I am sure there are many of you who will be able to assist me should I have questions about my phone..

I just purchased it on April 1st... So far, with a bit if patience in getting used to having a smartphone for the first time, I love my Aria.... Smiley

I do have a question though... I was advised to download an anti virus program for the smartphones.. I tried to down load AVG, but got a message saying the content is not supported. No application can be found to open this file.

Do any of you have a suggestion on what is a supported Antivirus program for the Aira??

Hello and welcome to the forum. The android operating system is base off Linux which is probably the most secure platform available and being that android is a phone OS it is even more secure. AntiVirus software is really hyped up by the developers more than anyone else. My personal opinion is it is not needed because there aren't to many hackers out there that would go thru the trouble of attacking a phone because there is just not enough for them to gain for the trouble. That being said I have never run a AntiVirus app on my phone.
