Hi, I was just wondering if you can recover from a brick using a nandroid backup? I want to try flashing a different ROM, but I'm scared to do it, because I'm not sure how nandroid backups work. And if the phone gets bricked, does the clockworkmod get bricked also?

nandroid backups will usually still work if flash a bad rom the phone will usually just get stuck on the splash screen or bootloop. I know of very few people who have actually hard bricked there phone to a point that it's unrecoverable. Just make sure the roms you are flashing are for the aria and not another device and you should be fine. xda has a good amount of roms availible.

Okay thanks! Btw, this is the rom I want to install: forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1151921  but I'm not sure which version of it to install. What's the difference between the two?

EDIT: Nevermind. i just went with the Liberty S ZY rom instead. thanks anyway for your help!
