World of Wireless - WOW! Since 1987

Hello All!
I'm new to this so here goes. I wanted the Aria, but not branded AT&T (I just don't like branded phones since they usually have more limitations) so I bought an international unlocked version and it is for Thailand which is fine except that sometimes the different asian symbols pop up when texting or when handwriting to text and I'm not getting the Voice to Text feature that the US version has. I really want this feature!! So I called HTC and they said that version doesn't have it and the other languges in the phone cannot be removed. They also said that no other countries sell the Aria (I was hoping to buy the UK or Australia version which may have Voice to Text and the language issue would be resolved too) Hey, if an iPhone can be flashed with Android, certainly my Aria can be flashed with a language and Voice to Text fix right?? I'll even settle for flashing it with the AT&T software if I need to at this point.

Hello,
I'm trying to understand what you wrote here: "Once installed unistall until after you get you clockwork on then you may reinstall if you choose. This is to extract the proper drivers and yes they will remain if you only unistall HTC sync."

Once you install the HTC sync program and get the drivers for your aria you simply uninstall HTCSync....If you want the htc sync program back re-load after you get the clockwork mod done.

I wrote the tutorial when I first got my aria, I came to this forum because of my loyalty to LG-Vu.com.  It may be mis-worded a bit when I get time to fix it I will.  Although I know that numerous ppl have "gotten it" So It must be within the ballpark of correctness. =)
