Hi there from the Great Southwest!
I'm an Alltel refugee now living at AT&T.
I had a prepaid phone for years but it died just before the mighty migration so I got a Samsung Hue II from Alltel (a non-smartphone.) Then AT&T sent me an Aria. It seems I'm paying about $10/month more than I was including the data plan I wasn't required to have before. I have the grandfathered 700 minute voice plan ($39.99), 200MB data ($15) and no SMS.
I still need to work out the Touchscreen settings, especially the keyboard, and a few other things.
I think the Aria will be OK as long as I keep an eye on my network settings. To that end I was looking for advice and tips & tricks for it and I found this forum. I already found most of the settings myself but the battery saver tips and other things caught my interest. Here's to a long, healthy (and cheap) relationship.
