I recently changed from stock 2.2 froyo to LIberty S ZY modded RC3, and i dont really like the messages. i've tried to get the messages from froyo to my current rom, but i keep getting force close errors. yes, the mms.apk is deodexed, but the problem still persists.

any help is appreciated. Grin

Not sure if the apk is compatible with your current rom but to install it you need to unzip the current rom and remove the mms.apk in the system app folder then add the new one to the folder rezip the rom then flash it.

Okay, thanks i'll try that right now.

If it's not compatible, then is there a way to edit the mms.apk so it is?
